December Schnibbles

I turned my December Schnibbles pattern, Tuffets, into Coasters and made a small bag for them. I took a couple photos of "work in progress". After putting the little tops together using muslin as a foundation, I then put a piece of batting with it when I put it on my stabilized hoop to embroider. The designs are ones that were preprogramed in my Bernina 830. (Since having to get my new computer, I haven't downloaded my DP V6 software yet ...need to download drivers) To put them together, I added another piece of batting with the backing, sewed and turned. Each Tuffet (coaster) has a different design, simple quilting designs.
Are they perfect? No. But, as Carrie said in her directions, you get better as you make more. And so, I made more..and more..and more. The fabric I used was Benartex Fossil Ferns Sampler Pack which are 5" pre-cuts. There are so many in a sampler pack, that I'm well on my way to finishing up a second set of Tuffets (coasters) with another little bag to match for another gift.

And, yes, those little blocks are now straight. Hey - doesn't practice make better? ( not necessarily "perfect" LOL)
